The most dangerous time in any office.

Not morning energy.
Not even freedom.

Just… sleepy confusion.

Rakesh stared at his computer screen.

The Excel sheet stared back.

They had been staring at each other for 12 minutes.

No one was winning.

He tried to focus.

But his brain had officially logged out.

Across the office, things were not very different.

Someone was pretending to type very seriously.

By 5:45 PM, the office energy changed again.

People packed their bags 10 minutes early but pretended to keep working.

At exactly 5:59 PM, screens were shut down at lightning speed.

Rakesh leaned back in his chair and smiled.

Today he had:

• Survived a surprise meeting
• Accidentally spoken in sleep
• Witnessed boss’s cool dog wallpaper
• Done almost half of his actual work

Not bad.

As he left the office, he realized something.
